Factions

You may at some point, even before level 20, be invited to join a faction. Factions are communities of players that chat and help each other whenever they need it. There are all different kinds. Some only have high level characters or some very small in size. It is up to the four executive members of each faction what type of faction it will be because they have the power to invite and kick people out.

A good faction always has at least a few members chatting with each other, letting you know they are there to help you with your FBs or whatever you need. A bad faction has nothing going on in the chat and has many members that are not even active. It is not unusual for the head of a faction to require all members to level up at least once a month so players can show they are active. You do not have to chat with anyone in the faction if you have no desire to, but you should at least be courteous by saying hello in the faction chat as long as soon as you log on.
